IT Middleware Administrator Lead (Middleware Access Management)
AEP is seeking an experienced IT System Administrator accountable for implementation and support of Middleware infrastructure with an emphasis on Public Key Infrastructure, Identity & Access Management solutions, application load balancing and proxies. This position will require hands-on experience with shell scripting, WebLogic Application Servers, OpenSSL certificate management, OpenLDAP administration, apache reverse proxies and F5 load balancers.
Principal Accountabilities :
Install, configure, automate, and support PKI Infrastructure on Linux through shell script automation of the issuance, tracking, and deployment of root, identity, and signing certificates via OpenSSL.
Automate the deployment of identity certificates to multiple operating systems and applications.
Support existing Access Management consumers and assist in onboarding new sites and third party vendors through deployment of Access Management Agents and Federated Identity Management Partnerships.
Learn to operate and administer the RSA Identity and Access Management suite of products.
Learn to operate and administer the F5 Local Traffic Manager (LTM) and F5 Access Policy Manager (APM) implementations.
Troubleshoot moderate level support problems and provide or obtain their timely resolution. Escalate complex problems to more senior IT Infrastructure Engineers to facilitate their resolution.
Provide assistance in the delivery of technical services including the preparation of cost justifications, application requirements, alternative solutions, and technical recommendations.
Provide and maintain technical documentation, policies and procedures related to Middleware infrastructure and updates as necessary.
Perform 24x7 on-call support on a rotating schedule.

Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering related field or Associate degree with 2 years system administration related experience or High School Diploma/GED with 4 years system administration related experience.
In addition to any experience notes above. Minimum of 8 years of IT Systems Administration experience supporting Middleware technologies.
Requirements - Other:
At least 1 year of hands on experience administering AIX or RedHat Linux operating systems with an emphasis in shell scripting task automation.
At least 1 year of hands on experience issuing and deploying SSL/TLS certificates.
At least 1 year of hands on experience administering Java application server JVMs.
